Vacancy: internship content creation

Do you want to work at the most incredible museum in the Netherlands? At a foundation that deals with drugs? In a wonderfully free and chaotic office? Come and do an internship at Poppi Drug Museum and Mainline Foundation.

We are looking for a creative who likes to create and design content. Are you looking for a playground with room for your ideas and development? Do you find drugs an exciting subject? Then we want you!

who are we?

Mainline Foundation is a non-profit organisation headquartered in Amsterdam and operating both domestically and internationally. Mainline’s mission is to promote the health and improve the legal position of people who use drugs. We do this without primarily seeking to reduce drug use and with respect for the individual user’s freedom of choice and possibilities. 

Poppi Drug Museum is Mainline’s social enterprise. Poppi is currently organising pop-up exhibitions and building a fully-fledged museum of drugs. Poppi aims to create a safe place to learn and discuss all sides of drugs and drug policy.  

What will you do?

You will be responsible for creating new content for Mainline and Poppi. This entails handling communications on online and offline channels, such as writing and designing social media posts. You will also, amongst other things, write cool trip blogs for Poppi, interview experienced users for chemsex.nl and design flyers for Mainline. You will monitor the performance of social media and the website and spot opportunities. There is plenty of room for your input. 

What do you bring?

You have a confident way of working. You have an affinity for content creation and are able to translate Mainline’s and Poppi’s message into clear and appealing content. Of course, you can spell flawlessly. You have experience with content creation programmes such as Canva and, Adobe Photoshop & InDesign (basic level).
